MB Housing Management Limited was honoured to co-sponsor this year’s APM Charity Golf Day at Dartford Golf Club, a truly special event that continues to bring people together for an incredible cause.
While it was a fantastic day of golf, fundraising, and community spirit, it was also an emotional reminder of why the event exists.
The charity was established in memory of Ali-Paul, a young man in his twenties whose life was tragically cut short while on holiday with friends abroad. Ali-Paul had a passion for golf and was well known to many of us through our valued partners at Go-Pest Environmental Services, the company he founded. Our Maintenance Manager, Harry, also knew Ali-Paul from birth through a close family friendship, making this event particularly meaningful to everyone involved.
On the first anniversary of Ali-Paul’s passing, family and friends organised a charity golf day in his honour. Their aim was to celebrate his love of golf while raising funds to support families who have experienced the unimaginable loss of a child. What began as a heartfelt tribute has grown year after year into a well-supported annual event that continues to make a real difference.
In keeping with Ali-Paul’s favourite colour, everyone proudly wore green throughout the day. Following the golf, guests enjoyed a barbecue before taking part in a raffle and charity auction, with generous prizes donated by supporters and local businesses. Every contribution helps the charity continue its important work supporting bereaved families.
